Project Description: We need to design a stamp collection for this project that may consist of four to twenty stamps. We were granted unlimited in terms of subject matter and creative style. The purpose of this project was to investigate potential difficulties to producing powerful, integrated designs at a small dimensions.

Design Statement: For this project, I have decided to chose a theme of Chuseok Holiday for the postage stamps collection. My purpose was to create postage stamp to educate the viewers about the holiday. Major mid-autumn harvest festival Chuseok, also known as Hangawi, is a three day holiday celebrated in South Korea on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month on the full moon. The mid-autumn full moon, when people gathered before the harvest to enjoy food, play games, and pray for the bountiful year, is highly celebrated around this time. It is believed that the rabbit can be seen pounding something on the moon on the night of the mid-autumn festival.
